Carolina Mountains Literary Festival
September 10-12, 2026
Burnsville, NC
Since I first heard about the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival, I hoped one day I'd be invited. Is there a place more beautiful than Burnsville? A place more welcoming, more inviting? This year, the festival returns after a difficult recovery from Helene. Welcome back, CMLF! I'm thrilled to be a part of the amazing lineup of writers of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction who will come to the mountains to talk books and words. Stayed tuned for more details, and click on the link below.
Lexington Book Festival
April 17, 2027
Now in its fifth year, the Lexington Book Festival takes over Main Street and downtown Lexington for a day of programs, readings, discussions, and signings. Please join us on April 17! I'm thrilled to be participating along with some of our most fun, energetic, and progressive writers of children, young adult, and adult books.
